“Idam” is a cultural project of MIND Trust- nascent fellowship of person with Muscular Dystrophy (MD) and Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) in Kerala.
A number of activities are being carried out as part of this project, one of which is Idam magazine. Its first issue was published in November 2020 by famous writer and speaker Mr. Shaukath. The digital magazine has a special place as the stories, poems, articles, interviews, biographies etc, and all the work behind the scenes are carried out by persons with MD and SMA.
Initially published bi-monthly, the magazine is now published on the 15th of every month. We also conduct online discussions and debates are conducted with those in the field of art and literature, as part of this project.

മസ്‌ക്കുലർ ഡിസ്ട്രോഫി, സ്‌പൈനൽ മസ്‌ക്കുലർ അട്രോഫി ബാധിതർക്കായുള്ള മൈൻഡ് ട്രസ്റ്റിന്റെ കൾച്ചറൽ പ്രോജക്റ്റാണ് ഇടം.
ഈ പദ്ധതിയുടെ ഭാഗമായി നിരവധി പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ നടത്തുന്നുണ്ട്, അതിൽ ഒന്നാണ് ഇടം മാസിക. 2020 നവംബറിലാണ് പ്രസിദ്ധ എഴുത്തുകാരനും പ്രഭാഷകനുമായ ഷൗക്കത്ത് ഇതിന്റെ ആദ്യ ലക്കം പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചത്. കഥ, കവിത, ലേഖനം, അഭിമുഖം, ജീവിത കഥ തുടങ്ങിയവ ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുള്ള മാസികയിലെ എഴുത്തുകാരും അതിന്റെ പിന്നണിയിൽ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നവരുമെല്ലാം തന്നെ എംഡി/എസ്എംഎ ബാധിതരാണ് എന്ന പ്രത്യേകത ഇടം ഡിജിറ്റൽ മാസികയ്ക്കുണ്ട്. തുടക്കത്തിൽ ദ്വൈമാസിക ആയി ഇറക്കിയിരുന്ന മാസിക ഇപ്പോൾ എല്ലാ മാസവും 15ആം തിയ്യതി പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിക്കുന്നു. കലാ സാഹിത്യ മേഖലയിലുള്ളവരുമായി ഓൺലൈൻ ചർച്ചകളും സംവാദങ്ങളും ഇതിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി നടത്തുന്നു.
